Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to set up and print various projects on the 3D printers, laser cutters, and other architectural modeling technology and/or assisting the Architecture Shop Manager in setting up, cleaning, and monitoring the Wood and Metals Shops.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalency.
One (1) year of related experience
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Professional verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to maintain and assist in the development of lab/shop policies and procedures.
Knowledge of 3D printing technology.
Knowledge of various CADD and 3D modeling software.
Knowledge of plotters and printers and/or basic shop safety practices and construction technologies.
Knowledge of various hand tools and power tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in a related field.

Receive, setup, and print student files for 3D printing, laser cutters, and other architectural modeling technology and/or be able to assist students with various projects in the Wood and Metals Shops.

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the labs/shops. Adhere to and assist in developing lab/shop policies and procedures. Maintain entry logs. Maintain lab/shop consumable supply inventory.
Job Duty
Provide support to faculty and staff. Must be available to work evenings and weekends in addition to regular business hours as necessary.
