Job description

Job Summary:
ECOM is working on a proprietary 3D seismic interpretation tool, and they are seeking a C++ Software Engineer to contribute to the development of a thick client application. The role involves working on long-term projects with a focus on high performance computing and integration into the client organization.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong background in both numerical mathematics and computer science (algorithms, data structure, etc.) or related course work is highly desired
• Proficient in C++ 11 or later and custom scripting languages
• Working knowledge of multi-threading/parallel programming
• Working experience in creating and implementing parallel/concurrent algorithms for high performance computing systems
• Working knowledge and proficiency with at least one parallel programming language like MPI or OpenMP
• Experience with both OOD and functional design
Preferred:
• High performance 3D graphics rendering/OpenGL
• C# application development
• Client/server architecture (Web)
