College of Engineering Technology

  Advertised Salary: $14.00   Summary of Position: Assist students and faculty with design and fabrication projects, train users on 3D printers and laser equipment, and maintain makerspace tools and supplies to support hands-on learning.   Position Type: Student Employment - General   Position Requirements: Ability to:
Operate and maintain 3D printers, laser cutters, and related equipment.
Follow and promote safety procedures while keeping machines in good working order.
Train and assist students and faculty in using makerspace tools.
Troubleshoot issues with equipment and projects as needed.   Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Keep the makerspace running day to day and make sure equipment is ready to use.
Run and maintain 3D printers, laser cutters, and other tools.
Help students and faculty with their projects, from setup to troubleshooting.
Show people how to use the machines safely and correctly.
Keep track of supplies and let supervisors know when things are running low.
Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and organized.
