Outpatient Internal Medicine in Springfield, Illinois

304K Base | 50K Sign-On | 150K Loan Forgiveness | 35 Days PTO


A physician-led health system in the Springfield, Illinois region is looking for an Internal Medicine physician who wants genuine autonomy, a flexible schedule, and a financial package that is difficult to find in outpatient primary care. No inpatient responsibilities, a 1:2 physician-to-MA ratio, telenurse triage for call coverage, and 35 days of combined vacation and CME make this one of the more well-structured outpatient IM roles in Central Illinois.


Practice Details



  • Outpatient Internal Medicine in a single-clinic setting within a physician-led, collaboratively administered organization
  • Dedicated APP support and a strong 1:2 physician-to-MA/LPN ratio at all locations
  • Average of 18 to 22 patients per day for full-time physicians
  • Telenurse triage handles call coverage, so your time off is protected


Schedule



  • Monday through Friday clinic schedule with no inpatient responsibilities
  • Full-time 1.0 FTE with flexible day and hour options and prorated schedules available
  • Physicians have genuine input into how their schedule is structured


Compensation & Benefits



  • Base salary of 304,478 with a Performance Incentive Program for additional earnings
  • 50,000 sign-on bonus and 150,000 in student loan forgiveness
