Job Description
We are looking for a skilled CNC Mill Machinist for a temp-to-hire position with a growing company in the Houston area, recognized for its dedication to excellence and quality service. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Mill machinery to produce metallic and non-metallic parts used in the production of inflatable packers, downhole tools, and other products.
Responsibilities:
  • Review blueprints, drawings, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of part/product, sequence of operations and/or set up requirements.
  • Measure, mark and otherwise indicate the dimensions and reference points on the part or material to be used as guides for subsequent machining.
  • Select, align and secure the holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines to include mills, lathes and grinders.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • API connections (e.g., Rotary shoulder connections, Buttress, etc.)
