Job description

Company Overview

At The Intersect Group, we are partnering with a nationally recognized healthcare services organization dedicated to supporting providers that serve vulnerable patient populations. The organization delivers education, operational support, and guidance related to critical healthcare programs while helping members navigate complex regulatory requirements. Their culture emphasizes service excellence, continuous learning, and a commitment to providing trusted, accurate information to healthcare professionals across the country.

Role Summary

We are seeking a 340B Specialist to serve as a primary point of contact for customers seeking guidance related to the 340B Drug Pricing Program and associated services. This role combines customer support, program education, and light administrative responsibilities while helping healthcare organizations navigate program resources, websites, and eligibility requirements.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who enjoys solving problems, researching answers, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role is not a traditional high volume scripted call center position. Instead, it requires thoughtful conversations, investigative questioning, and a commitment to becoming a trusted resource on a complex healthcare program.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound telephone and email inquiries regarding the 340B Drug Pricing Program and related services

• Provide foundational education and guidance to healthcare stakeholders regarding program policies, resources, and requirements

• Assist users in navigating government and company websites to locate information, pricing, eligibility requirements, and program resources

• Document customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions within Salesforce or other CRM platforms

• Research customer questions and provide accurate, policy aligned information

• Escalate complex inquiries when additional expertise or clarification is required

• Support membership related administrative activities as needed

• Maintain detailed and accurate records to ensure quality and consistency

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customers receive timely and professional support

• Continuously expand knowledge of the 340B Program, healthcare policies, and organizational services

Key Requirements

• 1 plus year of experience in a customer support, account support, member services, or customer service role

• Experience handling unscripted customer conversations requiring problem solving and investigative questioning

• Strong phone presence with exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Proven ability to provide professional customer support through phone, email, and chat channels

• Experience documenting customer interactions within a CRM platform

• Salesforce experience strongly preferred

• Strong attention to detail including documentation, grammar, spelling, and communication quality

• Ability to learn and retain complex program information and regulations

• Strong active listening skills and customer focused mindset

• Self motivated learner with the ability to research answers independently

• Healthcare, pharmacy, health services, or regulatory program experience preferred

• Knowledge of the 340B Drug Pricing Program is a plus but not required

• Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus

Success Profile

• Service oriented professional who enjoys helping customers solve complex problems

• Excellent communicator who asks thoughtful questions and listens carefully

• Comfortable handling longer, consultative customer conversations rather than transactional interactions

• Detail oriented and committed to accuracy when providing information

• Adaptable learner capable of mastering complex healthcare program knowledge

• Professional, empathetic, and confident when interacting with diverse stakeholders

Work Environment and Schedule

• Hybrid schedule with one required onsite day per week, typically Wednesdays

• Location: Irving, Texas in the Las Colinas area

• Six month contract with strong potential for long term extension

• Opportunity to gain expertise in a nationally recognized healthcare program

Preferred Backgrounds

• Customer service

• Member services

• Account support

• Healthcare support services

• Pharmacy support

• Healthcare administration

• CRM based customer service environments

Why This Opportunity

• Join a nationally recognized team supporting a critical healthcare program

• Receive extensive training on a complex and valuable area of healthcare services

• Work in a collaborative environment focused on professional development and customer advocacy

• Build expertise that can lead to future healthcare support, account management, and program specialist opportunities

Call to Action

If you are a customer focused professional who enjoys helping others, learning complex subject matter, and providing exceptional service, apply today by sending your resume and contact information to The Intersect Group.
