Current Need Responsible for Contract Administration operational activities supporting the Pharma business unit, totaling approximately $82B annually in contract sales and approximately $50B in chargebacks. Responsible for continued execution on objectives and completion of ongoing business operation activities. Will actively engage with internal teams on process improvements to drive efficiencies and improved accuracy for the Pharma business. Must be able to influence others and build bench strength, because leadership and development of others is a critical component as a leader in the Contract Administration organization.

Position Description

  • Lead the Government contract team that consists of VA/DOD and the 340B program. Develop strategy for team to meet financial and operational objectives. Oversee decisions on administrative and operational matters, and ensure operation executes on established objectives consistent with departmental strategies set by director, and various strategies of the business unit.
  • Ensure that VA/DOD pricing accuracy is maintained. Must be able to pull facts together quickly and have the ability to communicate quickly and effectively when issues arise.
  • Manager the ever-changing landscape within 340B. Effectively adjust processes when rules and regulations change.
  • Manage relationships through frequent interactions with GenPact, Internal stakeholders, and manufacturers to address matters concerning contract administration; Facilitate cross functional understanding and cooperation through staff engagement and developing effective operational teams; Involved as key stakeholder in contract technology initiatives and its impact on financial and operational components for the Pharma business unit.
  • Develop and incorporate best practices and issue resolution process through enhancing systems and procedures to support business needs; Champion new initiatives and act as a catalyst for change; Ensure business processes are in place that point to opportunities to improve business results and/or customer satisfaction; Initiate and implement process reengineering and develop as appropriate; Sets objectives linked to strategy and appropriate measures to determine operational success. Ensure execution of strategic and operational priorities; ensure environment for quick problem solving, customer service, and decision making.
  • Evaluate processes and identify opportunities to improve procedures and associated results by implementing functions that ensure operational excellence and financial success; Develop a strong team by coaching and providing appropriate development opportunities for direct reports; Ensure high quality employee attraction, engagement and development at all levels, building bench strength through modeling of ICARE and development of an effective culture.
  • Maintain an understanding of internal and external customer needs and issues, as well as how business processes affect customer satisfaction; Ensure measurements are in place to deliver a high level of quality and responsiveness to business needs; Drive process improvements that will allow us to achieve our aggressive business goals while at the same time meeting our employee and customer satisfaction goals.

Minimum Requirements

3+ years contract administration experience
