CURRENTLY HIRING FOR OPERATORS
HOURS:
1st - 6:00AM - 2:30PM
2nd - 2:00PM - 10:30PM
3rd - 10:00PM - 6:30AM
PAY: $20.50/hr + $2 Shift Differential for 3rd shift ONLY
**To meet operational needs, mandatory biweekly Saturday overtime will be part of our standard schedule.**
This is a firsthand position and will require that the individual be responsible for the operation of a production line. The Operator will be accountable for achieving operational goals, while maintaining quality and safety standards.
This individual will be responsible for contributing to a consistent, safe, and productive work environment through participation in corporate programs, and adhering to operational and personnel policies and procedures. With a focus on the success of the overall operation, the individual will work closely with the production, quality, sanitation and maintenance teams to maintain optimal quality, safety and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities amp; Essential Functions
  • Pick-up daily production schedule and review for accuracy.
  • Communicate to the mixer and utility person the plan for each product running.
  • Turn on equipment and verify that it is running properly. Notify appropriate supporting department if any issues are noted.
  • Properly and safely replace Mesh and Teflon belts.
  • Adjust machine settings accordingly to ensure proper size and weights.
  • Verify and confirm recipes, seasoning, weights, size, accuview settings are in accordance with ERP System (Plex) requirements for all changeovers and product runs
  • Assist in the regrind process.
  • Monitor quality standards and notify Quality Control of any product problems
  • Clearly and accurately fill out all production paperwork and maintain ERP System (Plex) requirements
  • Accurately recording waste by using correct settings and troubleshooting if not correct
  • Communicating issues that prevent maximum performance of the line to Lead and/or Supervisor
  • Ensure all equipment is taken apart and needed parts are properly cleaned for deep clean changeovers; contact Quality Control for final approval
  • Assist sanitation department with equipment cleaning and ensure parts are properly put back
General Responsibilities
  • Work with the maintenance team to resolve any equipment issues.
  • Cover breaks for Mixer online as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the mixer, utility person and management
  • Keep work area clean and orderly.
  • Maintain compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members from other shifts to ensure clarity and continuity.
  • Actively participate in Food Safety and Food defense related activities.
  • Perform additional duties as directed.
Education amp; Experience
  • High school graduate or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience operating production machinery; equipment set-ups, start-ups, adjustments to meet product specifications
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Basic English language skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability and willingness to always follow GMP’s.
  • Safely operate industrial manufacturing equipment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Ability to make decisions regarding the operation of the equipment.
  • Be comfortable working in a warm environment (warmer during summer months high of 110 Degrees)
  • Ability to lift between 30-55lbs continuously.
