We are seeking compassionate and dedicated RN to provide 1:1 care for a student with disabilities in a K–12 school setting. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact in the life of one student by ensuring their health, safety, and well-being throughout the school day. This is for Summer School with the option to continue into the school year.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct 1:1 nursing care for an assigned student during school hours
  • Monitor and manage medical needs as outlined in the student’s care plan (e.g., medications, feeding, mobility support, seizure management, etc.)
  • Assist with personal care needs, including toileting, hygiene, and mobility as necessary
  • Communicate effectively with school staff, parents, and medical professionals
  • Document daily nursing activities and observations accurately and thoroughly
  • Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for the student

Requirements:

  • Active LPN license in the state of Missouri
  • Current CPR/BLS certification
  • Experience working with children or individuals with disabilities preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and observation skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a commitment to student care
  • Experience with children along with Vent, Trach & Siezures
