Job description

Technician III

As a Technician III you will calibrate, set-up and use sophisticated and or specialized measurement and test equipment. ย Measures and records data for assigned projects. ย Interprets data and prepares recommendations. ย Writes reports and communicates results.

You will do this by
  1. Performs a variety of non-routine assignments of moderate complexity, including various engineering tests using sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment
  2. Fabricates prototype components and/or assemblies for product testing
  3. Documents all aspects of tests including objectives, procedures, results, conclusions and recommendations
  4. Compiles and computes a variety of engineering data; analyzes test and design data and prepare reports
  5. Analyzes problems and recommends solutions; expedites prototype parts or assemblies
  6. Develops, prepares and makes recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures and/or specifications
  7. Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Associates in a Technical field or equivalent experience
  • Five years of experience working with small/large engines, engine powered equipment or industry related products
  • Ability to set-up, calibrate and use sophisticated and or specialized measurement devices and test equipment
  • Understanding of a specialized technical area
  • Demonstrated ability to learn complex engineering software
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interpret data and create technical documents
  • Fluent in primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location and able to read English
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
