Position Overview 3d New England is seeking a Boys Manager of High School Club Operations to support the continued growth of one of the nation's premier club lacrosse programs. This is a highly visible, hands‐on leadership position responsible for supporting and managing the day‐to‐day operations of our high school club program while supporting the overall growth of 3d New England. The ideal candidate is an organized, energetic leader who thrives both on the field and behind the scenes, balancing operations, coaching, communication, recruiting support, and event execution. This individual will work closely with the New England leadership team—including James Leary, Matt Hudson, Ryan Caley, and Sam Cleveland—to deliver an exceptional experience for players and families. The position is based in Boston and requires evenings, weekends, and travel throughout the year for practices, tournaments, recruiting events, and club programming. Primary Responsibilities High School Club Operations Assist in day‐to‐day management of the 3d New England High School Club Program. Organize team logistics including rosters, schedules, practice plans, tournament preparation and selection, uniforms, and consistent communication. Serve as a trusted point of contact for high school club families, providing timely and professional communication throughout the year. Coordinate practice operations including field setup, staffing, schedules, and equipment. Direct on-field operations during practices, ensuring smooth execution across all teams and fields through our accordion style training. Develop practice plans alongside club leadership and ensure consistent implementation of the 3d Methodology. Recruit, schedule, and manage coaching staff for practices and tournaments. Support player evaluations, roster formation, and seasonal planning. Assist marketing team with recruiting info to help players and families get recruited and share their stories to attract more players to the club. Recruiting Support Assist in supporting the recruiting efforts for 3d New England high school athletes. Help educate players and families throughout the college recruiting process. Work alongside recruiting leadership to provide recruiting guidance, expectations, player evaluations, and communication with college coaches. Maintain current knowledge of NCAA recruiting rules and trends. Own and develop relationships with college coaches. Coaching & Player Development Coach club teams throughout the year at practices and tournaments. Help maintain a positive, competitive, and accountable culture. Hold players to high standards of sportsmanship, effort, and development. Provide mentorship to athletes both on and off the field. WBLL Support Serve as operational support for the Winter Box Lacrosse League. Coordinate logistics, staffing, communication, scheduling, and on‐site management for the WBLL season. Support of Event Operations Support planning and execution of all New England events, clinics, camps, showcases, and tournaments. Assist with staffing, logistics, scheduling, facility management, and customer experience. Help grow participation through exceptional execution and relationship building. Business & Customer Experience Build and maintain trusted relationships with players, families, coaches, and partners. Deliver a first‐class customer experience through consistent communication and professionalism. Assist with market growth initiatives and implementation of strategic goals. Support registration management, player databases, and operational systems. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred (Sports Management, Business, Marketing, Education, or related field) or equivalent experience. 3–5 years of coaching, club, or sports operations experience. Collegiate playing experience preferred. Strong understanding of the club lacrosse landscape and college recruiting process. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‐paced environment. Strong leadership presence both on and off the field. Self‐motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Willingness to travel and work evenings and weekends throughout the year.
