Job description

Second Shift Warehouse Position

L. Knife & Son is a family run beer distributing company that supplies the highest quality beers available in Plymouth, Barnstable and Bristol Counties, as well as Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. Owned and operated by the same family for the past century, our company places unparalleled value on the strong relationship we have with our customers. We maintain a superb lineup of world class products, and even more importantly, a strong team of world class people.

We are currently looking to fill a full-time Second Shift Warehouse position. We need an energetic individual who possesses a strong work ethic and a strong sense of responsibility to join and contribute to our team. This is a Full Time position and candidates must be able to work overtime, when necessary.

Shift: Monday - Friday 2PM - 10PM, with some overtime available

What will you do?

This position is on our unloading shift, meaning you will take all of the empties and product off of our retail trailers each afternoon and prepare the trailers to be loaded again by our 3rd shift. There is forklift work involved in this position that we'll train you on how to safely operate the equipment. This role comes with a lot of walking, standing and manual labor. Organizational skills are a key component in the success of this position.

Requirements
  • Must be 18+
  • High School diploma/GED
  • Prior warehouse experience is a plus, but not necessary, as we do train in house
  • Prior forklift experience a plus, but not necessary- everyone will be certified to safely operate the equipment
  • Must possess a solid work ethic and sense of responsibility

All candidates considered will have a background check, pre-employment drug screen & a physical exam.

Qualifications

High School or better.

Forklift experience a plus, but everyone will be certified to operate the equipment. Prior warehouse experience is a plus, we do train in house.
