Reports To: Warehouse Assistant Manager – Kossi Afantchao

Warehouse 2nd Shift Supervisor – Eric Canady

As a Warehouse Associate you will fulfill and process orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of your department.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily walkthroughs to confirm warehouse is suitable for daily operations

• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer

• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in warehouse while maintaining all safety protocols and company procedures

• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, supply rooms and other designated areas

• Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment

• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations

• Determine proper storage methods, identification and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities of facilities

• Keep accurate records on the use and/or damage of stock and stock handling equipment

• Examine and inspect items for wear or defects prior to use; reporting any damage to supervisors

• Provide assistance and/or direction to other warehouse or freezer workers

• Use fully functioning warehouse equipment (i.e., Forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts, etc.) to drop and move freight throughout warehouse, while maintaining all safety and company procedures

• Work in containers unloading freight

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• OSHA Certification to operate a Forklift (Preferred)

• Experience in working with RF Funs and Barcode System

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Detailed-oriented with excellent organization skills

• Understanding of RF Guns and barcoding

• Understanding of transferring of products of REDOCK (Preferred)

• Communicate with supervisors in various departments

• Daily discipline and the ability to prioritize, which allows the individual to dominate their daily checklist

• Professionalism, accountability, accuracy, and integrity

• Ability to work and cooperatively with others

• Ability to work all assigned work schedules and comply with all time and attendance policies

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted

• Ability to enter and maneuver in confined spaces

• Willingness to comply with company guidelines in reference to appropriate warehouse attire

• Willingness to work in order to complete such tasks associated with the company on a daily schedule

• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -3 degrees Fahrenheit
