Role Overview: This is not a Forklift Operator position. This position is 95% actively moving on your feet and 5% on a forklift.
Schedule Options:
2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 1:30 PM-10:00 PM
Pay:
Pay is based on experience, and there is a shift differential in the base rate when working 2nd Shift!

What you will accomplish as a Warehouse Worker:
  • Operate pallet jack and other non-power equipment
  • Compares identifying information and counts weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records
  • Uses computer to look up, and verify data related to incoming and outgoing orders
  • Retrieves products from warehouse locations and assembles customer orders
  • Assembles wooden or cardboard containers, or selects preassembled containers and inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding
  • Affixes shipping label on packages or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons, using stenciling equipment
  • Attaches identifying information and shipping instructions onto crates or containers
  • Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, follows established procedures to reject damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper and supervisor to rectify damages and shortages
  • Stocks items into proper locations
  • Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
  • Follows all safety rules and 5S / Lean Manufacturing procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Operate different types of forklifts including stand-up, sit-down and order picker
  • Utilize RF scanners to pick inventory and product movement
  • Receive off packing slips and help stock both our warehouses.
  • Maintain shipping, receiving and inventory records through proper documentation
  • Maintain organization and warehouse cleanliness
  • Responsible for all warehouse safety protocols including, but not limited to utilizing PPE and performing safety checks on all powered equipment
Position Qualifications:
  • Ability to transition from working independently to working in a team environment
  • A consistent work history
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience using basic computer skills preferred
  • 2 + years' experience in a related role or in a distribution center environment
  • 2 - 3 years forklift experience loading / unloading trucks
  • Experience using an Inventory Control System
