Westchester Plastics LLC. is currently hiring for machine operators. 

Requirements

  1. Report to Foreman or Shift Manager/Supervisor.
  2. Responsible for safe operation of all compounding equipment within standard operating conditions and standard operating procedures.
  3. Responsible for proper equipment set up/calibrations.
  4. Responsible for proper material stewardship of customer material being run on the associated production line he or she is operating.
  5. Responsible for safety and housekeeping on the associated production line he or she is operating.
  6. Responsible to run material according to customer specifications and AMETEK procedures.
  7. Work with QC Lab to monitor quality of material being produced and make adjustments as approved/necessary.
  8. Ensure all paperwork in associated job folders is properly completed by all individuals working on his or her production line.
  9. Work with Customer Service and Materials teams to requisition and/or return raw materials.
  10. Ensure all unused materials are properly removed from the machine and labeled properly so they can be returned to the warehouse.
  11. Assist maintenance as necessary during machine set-ups/changeovers.
  12. Perform clean up's as necessary during changeovers.
  13. Perform any additional duties assigned by Shift Manager/Supervisor.
