PRODUCTION - PC - MACHINE OPERATOR - 2nd Shift

Machine Operator

Overall Goal of Position:

Keep the Greenville Facility running smoothly; making adjustments during production runs, utilizing quality tools to ensure that product standards are met and to help make OurRecipe@SauerBrands.  

Job Summary

Daily setup and operation of packaging equipment servicing the condiment markets following industry standards for GMP

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Follow all Safety and Quality guidelines to protect the customer, yourself and fellow employees
  • Daily hands-on setup, startup and operation of assigned equipment utilizing hand tools and data collections tools made available for safe and efficient operation
  • Enter required Quality and Operational checks into the data collection software in use in a timely manner
  • Learn, meet and sustain KPI’s set for department goals
  • Provide peer support for successful department operation
  • Engage in cross training when available

What We Are Looking For:  Characteristics, skills, experience, education and performance history needed for success in the position:

 

  • High School Diploma required
  • Machine Operating Experience preferred
  • Must be detail orientated
  • Able to walk & stand during most all of a 10 hour shift
  • Quality driven, Self-motivated, and willing to learn
  • Dependable & punctual
  • Physical Capacities: Able to lift 30 lbs.
