Description

The Windsor Court is seeking a skilled 2nd-class Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for responding to all repair calls from guests and other departments with priority procedures. They will also repair and maintain all utilities efficiently and effectively. Shifts include overnight (10pm to 6:30am) and pm shifts (2:30pm to 11pm).


Responsibilities:

- Respond to all repair calls from guests and other departments with priority procedure

- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment, systems, and guest rooms

- Repair and maintain all utilities in an efficient and effective manner

- Address and resolve all customer problems

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

- Any other assigned tasks or duties as necessary

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Must have 2nd Class AC and Boiler license with the city of New Orleans

- 4+ years of experience in maintenance or a related field

- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility to work full-time hours and all shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as needed
