CDL A Tree Service Driver & Ground Crew Operator – Support High-Impact Tree Operations and Winter Response

You will play a dual role as a skilled driver and an active field professional, ensuring the safe transport and execution of complex tree care projects. This position offers steady, year-round work where you can grow your career within a well-respected landscape and tree care leader. You will be an essential part of a safety-first team that values professional development and high-quality production.

Operate CDL A chip trucks and towing equipment safely in compliance with DOT and OSHA regulations.

Execute daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and chipper readiness.

Support tree climbers and bucket operators by managing rigging, lowering operations, and work zone safety.

Maintain a high standard of jobsite safety through effective traffic control and equipment positioning.

Perform hands-on ground support including brush handling, chipper feeding, and site restoration.

Drive winter storm response efforts through plowing, salting, and heavy equipment operation.

Communicate technical field hazards and project progress directly to crew leaders and managers.

Valid CDL A license with an acceptable driving record.

Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor labor and lift 50+ pounds regularly.

OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to complete prior to first pay period).

Reliability to work early mornings, nights, and weekends during snow events.

Experience driving chip trucks, towing equipment, or operating loaders and bucket trucks.

Prior background in tree removal, pruning, arboriculture, or commercial landscaping.

2A/1C hydraulic license for specialized equipment operation.

Demonstrated experience in snow plowing and de-icing operations.
