Job description

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Crew – Night Shift position supports a productive warehouse operation by pulling and staging customer orders, stocking product, loading product, handling returns, and performing general warehouse duties in accordance with Jordano’s Foodservice Division guidelines.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with regular overtime, including Sunday work. Due to the physical demands, schedule, and overtime expectations, this role may not be suitable as a second job.

  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, with consistent overtime including Sundays
  • Pay Range: $24.00 – $28.25 per hour
  • Starting Rate: $24.00 per hour. This position follows a wage progression schedule. The hourly rate automatically increases to $25.50 per hour upon completion of 1 year of employment and to $28.25 per hour upon completion of 3 years of employment.
  • FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
What You Will Be Doing
  • Pull, stage, load, and organize customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Receive, unload, verify, and stock product in designated warehouse locations.
  • Use forklifts, pallet jacks, tuggers, and other warehouse equipment as assigned and authorized.
  • Verify product, quantities, labels, and order accuracy using pick sheets, labels, or warehouse documentation.
  • Perform quality control checks and report damaged, missing, or incorrect product to the manager or lead.
  • Stage and prepare orders for loading according to route sequence and company procedures.
  • Load product in a stable, safe, and travel-ready manner.
  • Assist with product returns, including verifying counts, documenting returned items, and moving product to proper locations.
  • Support warehouse cleanliness by removing trash, boxes, spills, and other hazards from assigned work areas.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is charged, maintained, and ready for the next shift.
  • Work in cooler, freezer, dry warehouse, dock, and loading areas as assigned.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and federal and state safety regulations.
  • Identify and report safety concerns, damaged equipment, housekeeping issues, or unsafe conditions to a supervisor or Safety Coordinator.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
