About the Role:
Liberty Nursing Agency Inc is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Home Infusion Nurse to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered infusion therapy in the comfort of patients' homes. Responsibilities:
  • Administer IV infusion therapies including antibiotics, hydration, IVIG and specialty medications in patients' homes
  • Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to infusion treatments and report changes in condition
  • Insert, maintain, and troubleshoot peripheral and central venous access devices (PICC lines, ports, central lines)
  • Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, medication management, and home care protocols
  • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and agency standards
  • Manage infusion supplies for each patient visit
Requirements:
  • Active RN  license in the state of New Jersey
  • Minimum 1-2 years of infusion therapy, IV therapy, or home health nursing experience preferred
  • Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion (Port and PICC experience a plus, will train)
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and patient education abilities
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license for home visit travel
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible patient schedule
