Job description

Excellent opportunity for individuals concerned about the safety of children. The Town of Wellesley Police Department is currently looking to hire School Crossing Guards. We are seeking dependable individuals to assure the safety of school children crossing the streets as they go to and from school. Interested individuals need not be Wellesley residents. The morning shift is from 7:55 a.m. to 8:25 a.m. and the afternoon shift is generally from 3:05 p.m. to 3:35 p.m. On Wednesdays, the afternoon shift is from 12:05 p.m. to 12:35 p.m.
Salary is $19.70/hour plus a $7.50 stipend for each shift. Fresh air and smiling children's faces are included.
