Position Summary

24/7 Security is responsible for facility integrity and crime prevention through direct interaction with vendors, customers, and fellow employees by enforcement of laws, rules, and regulations. This position primarily covers graveyard shifts and requires availability during overnight hours.

Essential Duties
  • Serve as a visible presence to deter potential incidents in and around the ballpark perimeter
  • Manage package check-ins and check-outs for front office staff and players
  • Ensure a safe and secure environment by preventing theft, loitering, and property damage
  • Monitor and document stadium activity using the daily security log
  • Utilize the security camera system to identify and address issues both inside and outside the stadium.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of facility locations and services offered
  • Responsible for facility opening in the morning and lock up after events
  • Execute post-game stadium parking lot and light shutdown procedures
  • Follow post-game stadium lights shutdown procedure
  • Act as first point of contact for vendors entering through the security corridor, prevent unauthorized entry
  • Report security matters and other operational concerns to supervisor as soon as issues arise
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Effective verbal communication skills with the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work diplomatically and effectively with the public, team members, and supervisors
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check
Work Environment
  • Work in fast-paced environment
  • Must be available to work overnight/graveyard shifts as this role is primarily scheduled during those hours
  • Flexibility to work holidays, evenings, weekends, and early morning hours
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Stand and walk for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel and crouch
  • Must have close, distant and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
