Job Title: Assembler (1st Shift) ($20.00/hr.)

Job Description

The Assembler builds conveyor systems for the e-commerce industry by following detailed work instructions, using hand and power tools, and ensuring all products meet quality standards. This role works on a production floor performing repetitive and precise mechanical assembly tasks, interpreting basic drawings, and accurately recording production data. The schedule runs from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Saturday, with regular opportunities for overtime paying time and a half. We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to start as soon as possible. Apply Today!

Responsibilities

  • Assemble conveyor systems and related components for the e-commerce industry according to written work instructions and basic drawings.
  • Insert rods into hand presses and operate hand and power tools to complete mechanical assembly tasks.
  • Follow detailed written work instructions and complete all required quality and production documents accurately.
  • Label conveyors and apply stickers correctly according to specifications.
  • Accurately post transactions and production activity using shop floor data collection devices.
  • Interpret basic mechanical drawings, measurements, and instructions to ensure correct assembly.
  • Inspect assembled products to verify quality and identify any defects or issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic assembly and fitment issues during the build process.
  • Perform repetitive and monotonous assembly tasks while maintaining focus, accuracy, and speed.
  • Use tape measures and other measuring tools to confirm correct dimensions and alignment.
  • Handle, lift, and move materials and components, regularly lifting up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds, and occasionally heavier items with proper technique.
  • Stand, walk, reach, and use hands for extended periods to complete assembly operations safely and efficiently.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work overtime as needed to support production demands and customer delivery schedules.
