Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team assembling custom conveyor systems and material handling equipment. This role involves interpreting blueprints, using hand and power tools, and assembling mechanical components with precision and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and experienced working in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
Responsibilities- Assemble conveyor systems and related mechanical components according to blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings.
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and tape measurements accurately.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including drills, impact drivers, wrenches, and measuring instruments.
- Align, fit, and secure mechanical parts and assemblies to required specifications.
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety procedures and quality control guidelines.
Qualifications- Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, construction, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using tape measures, hand tools, and power tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic math skills.
- Proficient English written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
