1st SHIFT MATERIAL HANDLER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a 1st Shift Material Handler for a company based in Clanton, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to find a position that offers valuable skills and growth within a fast-paced and innovative seat manufacturing organization. 
 
Pay Rate 
$18.63 per hour
 
Schedule and Hours 
5 00 am to 5 00 pm.
Weekends likely
 
1st Shift Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities
• Operating a forklift to move materials to the desired location
• Support production by maintaining the required material on line per the scheduled
• Load and unload materials as needed
• Operate material handling safely and make daily maintenance checks
• Break down boxes and bundle for shipment
• Stage materials for production 
• Closely always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
• All other duties as assigned
 
1st Shift Material Handler Qualifications and Requirements 
• 2+ years in assembly/manufacturing setting
• Previously certified operating a forklift 
• Shipping and receiving knowledge
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move 50-pound loads safely and efficiently.
• Automotive experience preferred
