Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC Night Shift Travel Nurse in Midtown Atlanta, GA. 13-week travel assignment starting May 11, 2026; 12-hour nights; competitive weekly pay. Job Requirements
  • Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience — LTAC, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or similar acute care experience preferred
  • Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or LTAC setting is highly desirable
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact license accepted where applicable)
  • BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
  • ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
  • Previous Select experience highly desired
Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized LTAC care plans
  • Provide high-quality patient care and participate in patient rehabilitation programs using the nursing process
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to identify teaching needs and establish realistic goals
  • Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
  • Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching beginning at admission to support safe transitions of care
  • Communicate changes in patient status to providers to ensure continuity, safety, and effective clinical handoffs
  • Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel and support staff
  • Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies, infection control, and safety procedures
  • Contribute positively to team building and a supportive work environment among LTAC and nursing staff
  • Maintain communication with management regarding supplies, equipment, and ongoing training needs
  • Assume charge responsibilities as requested following orientation and demonstrate sound clinical judgment during night shift
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education relevant to LTAC and critical care nursing
