Job description

1st Shift Assembler – Houston, TX

For a manufacturing client based in Houston, TX, Adecco is recruiting 1st Shift Assemblers to support production operations. In this role, you will perform defined assembly tasks following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and established safety guidelines. You will work with raw materials, components, and finished products, using production hand tools to complete assembly processes and maintain consistent workflow. The schedule for this position is 1st shift, Monday through Saturday, 5:45 AM to 1:45 PM. This position requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team while supporting high-quality production standards.

Benefits
  • Weekly pay starting at $17 per hour for all regularly scheduled working hours in the 1st shift assignment.

What You Will Do?
  • Perform assembly tasks according to standard operating procedures, maintaining equipment and production facilities in proper working condition.

  • Maintain production efficiency by supporting a consistent workflow and ensuring the smooth operation of all required hand tools.

  • Handle raw materials, components, and finished products by loading, unloading, and moving materials safely and efficiently in the production area.

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, promptly reporting any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors or designated safety personnel.

  • Follow established processes and instructions while supporting production targets and contributing to overall manufacturing output on the 1st shift schedule.

Your Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with the ability to understand written procedures and basic production documentation clearly.

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred, with training provided for candidates who meet other core requirements and demonstrate reliability.

  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity, enabling accurate assembly work and consistent handling of materials and components.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, using excellent communication and interpersonal skills in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Basic understanding of safety protocols and procedures, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies, including operating production hand tools.
