Founded in 1970 as South Philadelphia Health Action and subsequently incorporated as Greater Philadelphia Health Action, GPHA is a non-profit healthcare organization with a commitment to provide compassionate and affordable healthcare services regardless of an individual’s ability to pay. GPHA is one of the largest Dental providers in Philadelphia and Tri-state area. We are presently seeking Dental Assistants for Saturdays only.

  • 1401 S 31st St, Philadelphia, PA 19146
  • 4500-10 Frankford Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19124
  • 640 E Snyder Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19148
  • 5501 Woodland Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19143


Qualified candidates must be proficient in:

  • Chairside dentistry
  • Quality diagnostic digital x-rays
  • Impressions and model pouring
  • Infection control knowledge
  • The ability to adapt and understand the needs of the Dentist

Qualified candidates must be ambitious, positive, talented, and friendly possessing the ability to multi-task. We are looking for individuals that want to grow and develop with the division. Traveling and rotating Saturdays are required.


Must be a high school graduate or equivalent and have one year of dental assisting experience, preferred. DANB Certification required. Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. CPR Certification required. Must possess the ability to interact with people of diverse cultures and languages effectively to obtain necessary information.
