Position Summary
The Production Technician Associate will report directly to the Plant Manager or their designate and is responsible for performing a variety of production tasks to assist with operations in production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate a forklift.
  • Packaging 10 - 50 lb. bags of bulk product via saddle to pallet as well as filling 3000 lb. super sacks and 50,000 lb. tankers
  • Cleaning of the warehouse, and work area, as required.
  • Perform Daily Maintenance Checks in accordance with the procedures.
  • Calls specialists when more serious problems arise.
  • Tracks various data associated with production equipment.
  • Reports any inconsistencies and uses standard repair procedures.
  • Work in compliance with company safety and operating procedures.
  • Maintain high production levels in areas of responsibility.
  • Taking samples per the quality standards
  • Ensures all batch sheets and samples are turned into the quality lab in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring finished products are packaged and labeled to customer specifications and bulk trailers are labeled with the correct customer information.
  • Ensuring proper material is being used per customer formulations.
  • Other duties, as assigned by Management.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Previous forklift experience
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Previous experience in a production/manufacturing setting
  • Capable of working in a team and independently
  • Capable of following a production report while working independently
