Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate Veterinarian to diagnose and treat our clients’ animals. Surgical capability is preferred, Dr. Hamilton can work with you to be one of the best surgeons in the area! We have clients that say "yes" to what the doctor wants to do 90% of the time. This makes your job EASIER!!!!! 36 to 40 hour week, you can make over $200,000.00 easily. The support staff is fantastic. You tell me what hours you want to work, and I can work around your schedule!! The monetary and bonus package will be discussed at the interview, we have a strong support staff that makes working with us fun! Work the job you love and have time with the family you love more!!!! Responsibilities 
  • Provide routine examinations
  • Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment 
  • Administer vaccinations
  • Prescribe medication 
  • Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being 
  • Update client records 
  • Preferred: Ability to perform surgeries including dental, spay and neuter 

Qualifications
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree
  • Previous work experience as a veterinarian
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Availability to take evening, or weekend shifts when necessary
  • Patience and a love for animals

  • Digital radiography, including dental radiographs.
  • PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) and Stem Cells
  • Digitherm
  • Lameness scale to weigh each limb separately
