About This Role

The One & Two Year Old Teacher will work under the supervision of the Director, in conjunction with other staff, and in line with the center's mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the education and social development of children, utilizing patience, a compassionate and friendly demeanor, creative thinking, and a background in early childhood education.One & Two Year Old Teachers will lead by example, creating and maintaining a positive learning environment for children enrolled, ensuring the classroom quality meets goals and standards. They will adhere to day-to-day operations in accordance with state licensing requirements.


What You'll Do
  1. Lead staff and children with sound, caring, and positive guidance, ensuring a safe and fun environment for all.
  2. Deliver extraordinary customer service to parents, responding to their needs and concerns.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and implement safety standards in all program activities.
  4. Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement engaging, creative activities for children.
  5. Embody the mission and values of the Center, serving as a role model and teaching staff about these principles.
  6. Pass a criminal background check and meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years.
  7. Hold current CPR and First Aid certifications or obtain them within the first 90 days of employment.
  8. Pursue ongoing physical demands of the role, including frequent movement, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
  9. React calmly and effectively in hazardous situations, ensuring the safety of children and staff.
