Job description

Location: Irvine, CA (On site) | Type: Full Time | Pay Range: $17 an hour | Monday though Friday from 8am-5pm
As a File Clerk, you're one of the most important members of Norm Reeves Business Office. You will be responsible for efficiently filing all service OR sales contracts related paperwork associated with the service or purchased and sales of new and used vehicles.
This is an excellent entry-level position for someone with detail oriented and guest service approach to daily responsibilities. Your work is key in ensuring operational effectiveness and ultimately ensuring guests leave 100% satisfied with their Norm Reeves Experience. This role is a great entry point to your career with us!
Key responsibilities:
  • Keeps files current and in order within appropriate file system all dealership forms, records, reports, correspondence, or other important material
  • Reads/examines incoming material for accuracy and legibility, gets clarification if necessary, classifies properly and files within appropriate file system
  • Searches for and retrieves information contained in files as requested. This includes collecting past deal files from storage facility
  • Keeps records of material removed from files
  • Disposes of obsolete files in accordance with established retirement schedule or legal requirements
  • Copies records as needed
  • Maintains professional appearance and neat work area

Qualifications:
  • Full-time availability. You'll also need to be at least 18 years old
  • A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Strong communication skills with both Norm Reeves staff and guests
  • Excellent organizational and follow up skills
  • Maintain a professional appearance and work ethic
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
