Job Title: Clinical Research Cardiologist (Part-Time - 8 hrs./week)

 Location: San Juan, Dorado, PR
 Schedule: Only 8 hours per week

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist to join our dynamic clinical research team in San Juan, Dorado, PR on a part-time basis (8 hours/week). This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to cutting-edge Cardiologist -focused and multi-therapeutic clinical trials, working in a highly collaborative and well-supported research environment.

Whether you're an experienced Principal Investigator or new to clinical research, this role offers a flexible schedule, competitive compensation, and the chance to be at the forefront of innovation in nephrology.


Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as Principal Investigator (PI) or Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) on nephrology and multi-specialty clinical trials.

  • Perform medical screenings, nephrology assessments, and physical exams.

  • Provide clinical oversight to ensure subject safety and protocol adherence.

  • Collaborate with study staff to ensure accurate data collection and documentation.

  • Document AEs/SAEs, maintain compliance using EHR and EDC systems.

  • Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, CROs, monitors, and IRBs.

  • Participate in site visits, audits, and investigator meetings.

  • Contribute to feasibility reviews and recruitment strategies.

  • Stay current on GCP regulations and developments in nephrology and research.


Qualifications
  • M.D. or D.O. with active, unrestricted PR, US medical license

  • Board Certification in Cardiologist (required)

  • Valid DEA license and BLS/ACLS certification

  • Previous clinical research experience strongly preferred (training available)

  • Proficient in EHR systems and clinical trial platforms (EDC, CTMS)

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Strong commitment to ethical research and patient-centered care
