Position Overview
Location: Wheaton, MN split with Breckenridge, MN
Setting: OP; SNF/LTC; IP; HH
Pay Package: Starting at $2600/week
Guaranteed Hours: 40-hour weekly guarantee
Schedule: Flexible; Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM (No weekends, holidays, or call)
Contract Length: 13+ weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Qualifications:
โ€ข Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, with a minimum of a bachelor's degree
โ€ข Valid state OT licensure (or currently in an OT educational program)
โ€ข CPR certification
โ€ข Valid driver's license
โ€ข Must successfully pass a background check upon hire
โ€ข Strong communication and interpersonal skills
โ€ข Experience in SNF/LTC, OP, IP preferred - new grads encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Providing supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants and/or Therapy Aides as per state and federal laws and/or regulations
โ€ข Evaluate patients, review medical history, and identify functional and movement-related impairments.
โ€ข Develop and modify individualized treatment plans
โ€ข Teach therapeutic exercises and provide hands-on techniques to support healing
โ€ข Maintain accurate documentation and patient progress records
โ€ข Educate patients and families on home programs and recovery expectations
โ€ข Perform administrative tasks including reports, communication, and documentation per HIPAA
