Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Facilities Manger, will perform skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the installation, inspection, repair, and alteration of Casino heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and other related equipment.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • AA Degree in Science - Air Conditioning and Refrigeration *Successful completion of a five (5) year accredited apprenticeship program may be considered in lieu of AA Degree.
  • EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification required.

SKILLS:
  • Ability to compose concise and accurate reports. (Test required)
  • Must have excellent math skills. (Test required)

EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum three (3) years journey-level experience in HVAC and refrigeration repairs and maintenance.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience working with building codes, ordinances, and regulations of State and local authorities pertaining to HVAC.
  • Minimum three (3) years of building operations and skills including but not limited to centrifugal chillers, cooling towers, heat wheels, floor plenum single-pass conditioned air supply distribution systems in buildings over 200,000 sq. ft or larger.
  • Minimum two (2) years computer experience working with MS Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Experience with CMMS preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • This position is considered "safety sensitive" and will be required to undergo periodic drug/alcohol testing.
  • Must have a valid Drivers License.
  • Must successfully pass an agility exam to determine physical capability to perform the essential job functions.
  • Must be flexible to work at all gaming sites, the Tulalip Resort Casino, the Quil Ceda Creek Casino, and Bingo.
  • Must be available to work any shift to include day, swing, graveyard, weekends, holidays, and occasional on call.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
  • Must have a successful employment history with the Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers.
