Job description

Job Summary:
1199SEIU Benefit and Pension Funds is seeking a Developer II (.Net Developer) to join their team. The role involves understanding business requirements, developing web-based and mobile applications, and providing user support while participating in various projects and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Understand and interpret business requirements and develop solutions to fit those requirements in a project environment
• Design and develop new web-based user-facing applications and maintain existing applications using .NET, ASP.Net, C#, MVC, VB.Net, and SQL Server
• Design and develop mobile applications using React Native
• Participate in weekly meetings and communicate with users to compile comprehensive requirements information and provide recommendations and solutions
• Utilize insights gained from working with businesses to create documentation
• Partner with business managers and help desk to provide user support in various projects and initiatives
• Perform system testing/QA, facilitate UAT sessions with users, and follow change management process
• Migrate system changes to production and provide post-production support.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by management
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent years of work experience required.
• Minimum three (3) years of development experience in web-based applications using NET 6.0/7/0/8.0 framework, C# 11.0, ASP.NET Core 8.0, ASP.NET Core MVC and SQL Server 2019/2022 required
• Experience in JavaScript, jQuery, and responsive UI design using Bootstrap.
• Ability to establish and meet target dates; must be able to multitask effectively and handle multiple development projects.
• Ability to build strong relationships with various internal and external sources, including business owners.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, planning and organizational skills
