Title: Data Entry and Word Processing
Duration: 2 year
Location: Jamaica NY 11434
Shift Timings: M-F (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM)
Pay: USD 16/hr-USD 18/hr
Position summary:
Provides clerical and administrative support to the engineering department. This role assists engineering staff with document management, data entry, report preparation, purchase requests, correspondence, meeting coordination, and office support functions to ensure efficient departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and clerical support to the staff.
- Manage forms, records, filing systems, and departmental documentation.
- Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and route communications appropriately.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other documents.
Minimum Qualifications
- Basic knowledge, experience, or educational background related to engineering environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform accurate data entry and maintain records.
Preferred Qualification:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and document management systems.
- Experience preparing reports, tracking budgets, and maintaining project records.
