Job description

Akima Data Management is looking for a Records Information Management Analyst join our team. Applicants should have solid records management experience and high degree of self-governance with ability to work independently. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today!
Responsibilities
  • Assists in the development, inventory, storage, distribution, and destruction of forms as required under set practices of the Records Management Systems.
  • Assists with conducting surveys to consider user needs.
  • Creates and updates forms by using computer design software.
  • Perform digitization of physical records and utilization of proper metadata
  • Tracks records, information, and documentation from receipt through its life cycle.
  • Categorizes and keeps physical and electronic documents.
  • Provide training and guidance on records management policies and practices.
  • Performs work under general supervision.
  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience in records management.
  • Certified Records Manager or ability to obtain.
  • Proficiency in records management software and electronic records management systems.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Active Secret preferred.
