Job description

Primary Care Physician

Primary Care Physician (100% Outpatient) Lecanto, FL Full-time A well-respected family practice located in the Citrus County area is seeking a highly trained and motivated family practitioner or internal medicine physician to provide high quality medical care by examining patients and treating diseases. The ideal candidate will undertake tasks aiming at prevention and promotion of healthy habits. The job is one of the most demanding, but also most rewarding professions. A great physician is a highly qualified professional and a compassionate individual. You must be very knowledgeable in regard to diseases, epidemiology and other medical conditions so you can interpret symptoms and diagnose conditions. The job can be demanding so a great deal of patience and physical endurance is required. This is a full-time, contracted position, working 40+ hours per week with a focus on primary care medicine. There is an opportunity to be set up as a 1099 contractor with potential for bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Working Monday - Friday, No Call/No hospital work
  • Manage chronic conditions, evaluate and treat medical conditions, and screen for the onset of new health related conditions
  • Provide patient centered primary care medical services to patients of all ages
  • Collaborate with other primary care providers when needed
  • Promote health by advising patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease

Compensation & Benefits

  • 220k-300k base salary depending on experience and credentials
  • 4 weeks Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • 5 paid CME days
  • $2,500 CME expense allowance
  • 20k sign on bonus (some restrictions apply)
  • 10k moving expenses (some restrictions apply)
  • Stipend to be used toward the cost of the medical insurance premium
  • 401k available after 1 year of employment with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 4%

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Physician
  • Board eligible or Board certified or ACN Physician
  • Active Medical License
