Job description

Medical Assistant—Contract Role

    Location: Needham, MA 02494
    Duration: 26 Weeks
    Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week
    Shift: Day Shift (8) - 8:00 start
    Weekly Pay Rate: $768  - $869; (Negotiable based on experience)


      Responsibilities:

      • Perform patient intake, including rooming patientsmeasuring vital signs, and recording medical histories
      • Administer EKGs, and assist with basic procedures as directed by providers
      • Complete prior authorizations for medications and treatments
      • Provide patient education and instruction as directed by providers
      • Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR) accurately
      • Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, scheduling, and managing messages
      • Maintain exam rooms, stock medical supplies, and ensure a clean and safe environment

      Requirements:

      • Medical Assistant Certification is required
      • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office or primary care setting.
      • Certification: BLS (required).
      • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
