Job Brief
Kable Workforce Solutions is hiring a Shuttle Driver for our client. In this role, you will safely drive, park, and move new vehicles within a distribution or shipping yard. You will also inspect vehicles for damage, verify listed accessories, and help maintain yard quality standards.
What’s a Typical Day Like?
  • Ensure new vehicles are driven and parked in assigned areas according to manufacturer’s specifications
  • Inspects cars to detect damage and to verify presence of accessories listed on invoice
  • Move vehicles from staging areas to shipping bay location
  • Ensure yard quality standards are maintained
  • Must be able to follow directions and consistently follow procedures
  • Must adhere to AAR and safety procedures
  • Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain a positive behavior and conduct in the workplace while acting and communicating with customers, vendors, co-workers and management
What Are the Requirements of the Job?
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have and maintain a valid State driver’s license and must have a good driving record
  • Must be able to drive both standard and automatic transmission vehicles
  • Must be able to pass the driver’s safety test with an 80% accuracy or better
  • Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions
  • Must be able to move 40-80 vehicles per day
  • Walk continuously throughout the day
  • Associates must be able to work as a team or individually depending on workload
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous experience in a distribution center environment helpful.
  • Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments, including other departments, brands, locations, and mandatory overtime.
  • Meet productivity standards after successfully completing training.
  • Must be a team player and able to work well with others.
  • Comply with all safety, hazardous material and OSHA training, rules, and reporting, ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time, up to 10 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift to 75 lbs. on a continuous basis for 100% of working hours.
  • Ability to frequently lift cartons above (up to 8 feet overhead) or below shoulder level.
  • Ability to push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel, and stoop on a repetitive basis.
  • Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity to include grasping and holding
