Senior Trailer Technician
Location:Columbus, OH, USA
Shift:First shift
Schedule:Full time; Monday-Wednesday and every other weekend 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Job overview:

Perform major and minor repairs as a Senior Trailer Technician in Columbus, OH. Work on company trailers, intermodal chassis and containers.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair or replace components on company trailers, chassis and containers.
  • Perform repairs on major accident damage some that may require welding.
  • Diagnose and repair all issues involving trailer electrical systems.
  • Communicate status updates with internal customers.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Technical degree in welding, electronics, or related systems, or a minimum of 2 years of trailer technician experience.
  • Mastery of various diesel technician tools, including hand and power tools, cutting and welding torches, frame and body straightening equipment, etc.
  • Computer systems and diagnostic software experience.
  • Able to provide own tools within 30 days of hire.
