Traveling Superintendent - Concrete

Superintendent - Concrete
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Superintendent specializing in vertical concrete construction to oversee our high-rise, healthcare, industrial warehouses and variety of projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently, adhering to safety and quality standards while managing on-site personnel and resources.
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the construction process on-site for commercial and industrial concrete projects.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors and labor resources to ensure project timelines are met.
  • Perform regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
  • Maintain accurate records of construction progress and report to upper management.
  • Ensure that all materials and equipment are available and properly utilized on-site.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices among all team members.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in concrete construction, specifically commercial and/or industrial projects
  • Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods and processes.
  • Experience in self-performing general contracting work is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently to various job sites.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
