Job description

Trailer Technician | $22–40/hr + Bonus | Columbus

Trailer work isn't second-tier - at ETT, it's a real career path with its own pay scale, its own bonus structure, and its own ladder. We're hiring trailer techs at multiple experience levels.

What you'll do:

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair trailer bodies, brakes, electrical, air systems, and hydraulics
  • Service hubs and axles - adjust, rebuild, and replace as needed
  • Run tire work, lighting repairs, floor repairs, body work
  • Perform DOT inspections and ensure trailers leave road-legal
  • Document jobs in Karmak - accurate parts, time, and notes
  • Work with the Service Advisor and Foreman on workflow

What you bring:

  • 6+ months trailer repair experience (we have an apprentice path for the right person with less)
  • Welding skills are a strong plus, not required
  • Mechanical aptitude - brakes, electrical, hydraulics
  • Valid driver's license
