Job Title: Senior Enterprise Technology Portfolio & Data Analyst
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Technology Portfolio & Data Analyst to lead the design and implementation of our next-gen Application Portfolio Management (APM) and configuration data strategy. You will serve as the technical authority for our centralized "system of record" for application data, ensuring that our technical landscape is accurate, compliant, and optimized for business value.
This is a strategic role for an analyst who understands that accurate data is the foundation of every major IT investment. You will partner with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, and Business stakeholders to drive rationalization efforts, reduce organizational risk, and provide leadership with the insights needed to make data-driven technology investment decisions. If you are an analytical expert who enjoys designing data models and translating complex IT ecosystems into actionable business strategies, this is an excellent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio & Data Governance
• Portfolio Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the APM roadmap. Maintain a comprehensive inventory of business applications and operationalize the lifecycle-from onboarding and maintenance to rationalization and retirement.
• Data Integrity: Establish and enforce strict governance standards for data quality, completeness, and integrity within the configuration management database (CMDB). Lead ongoing data validation and reconciliation efforts.
• System Architecture: Configure and maintain data models, relationships, and workflows. Ensure all configurations align with enterprise architecture standards and integrate seamlessly with automated data ingestion pipelines.
Strategic Insights & Stakeholder Impact
• Business Translation: Translate technical ecosystem data into business-friendly insights and dashboards. Provide leadership with visibility into application costs, risk profiles, and performance metrics.
• Compliance & Risk: Implement access controls and support application classification (criticality, risk, and data sensitivity). Ensure all portfolio data supports cybersecurity, audit, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve automation and reporting capabilities. Drive enhancements that support application rationalization and operational cost optimization.
Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Experience Baseline: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Application Portfolio Management (APM) and Configuration Management (CMDB).
• Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of application lifecycle management, portfolio rationalization, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Data Proficiency: Proven ability to manage integrations, APIs, and data automation.
• Communication: Ability to tailor messaging to both high-level executives and technical/architecture teams.
Preferred Attributes
• Hands-on experience designing and configuring enterprise-grade IT platform modules.
• Experience supporting internal governance forums and audit/compliance activities.
• Ability to define KPIs for application health, business value, and data quality.
