  • Mileage reimbursement or company vehicle, depending on project assignment
  • Per diem for extended travel assignments (if applicable)

  • Clear advancement opportunities within construction inspection and materials testing
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field inspection and testing of construction materials, including concrete, asphalt, soils, and aggregates
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes
  • Perform sampling and field testing procedures in accordance with ASTM, AASHTO, and project standards
  • Document field observations, testing results, and deficiencies through detailed daily reports
  • Communicate inspection findings with contractors, engineers, and project managers
  • Maintain field equipment and ensure proper calibration and testing procedures

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to document technical data accurately
  • Comfort working outdoors on active construction sites in varying weather conditions
  • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
  • Ability to perform moderate physical activity, including walking job sites and handling testing equipment
Preferred Qualifications
  • *ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Certification*
  • NICET Construction Materials Testing Certification
  • ODOT Materials Testing or Asphalt Technician certifications
  • ICC Special Inspector certifications
  • OSHA 10/30 Certification
  • Experience with commercial construction, roadway construction, or infrastructure projects
