Job description

Responsibilities
  • Administration of VMware ESXi servers
  • Maintaining operating systems (Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux)
  • Application and security patching
  • Account and permissions management using Microsoft Active Directory
  • Backup and restore using Rubrik Backup Solutions
  • Cybersecurity processes related to continuous monitoring of IT systems
  • Deploy, update, and maintain Hyperconverged Infrastructure (HCI) systems
  • Administration of HPE 3Par and Nimble storage solutions
  • Kubernetes administration – Rancher RKE2 Distribution
  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network switches, firewalls, and routers
  • Monitor and analyze network performance and security using Wireshark and Splunk
  • Maintain and manage TCP/IP networks, including addressing, routing, and subnetting
  • Support implementation and management of VPNs
  • Collaborate with network engineering teams for integration of systems across secure networks
Qualifications
  • Active and transferable DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance required; ability to obtain SAP clearance and access after start
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum 5 years relevant experience or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years experience
  • Active certification to comply with NIST‑8570 (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
  • Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration
  • Windows 10/Server 2016 administration
  • Broadcom VMware – VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) experience
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts: VLANs, DHCP, DNS, routing protocols
  • Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting network issues
  • Preferred: SAP clearance, Enterprise Domain Administration (Windows), basic information system hardware configuration, container deployment (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm), automation with Ansible/Ansible Tower, Enterprise Key Management (Utimaco ESKM), cyber security tools (ACAS, HBSS, Splunk), ActiveMQ management, shell/bash scripting, LDAP administration, TCP/IP and transfer protocols, network protocols, firewalls, load balancers, proxy servers, detailed technical documentation, Cross‑Domain Solutions (CDS)
  • Ability to work under pressure in a team to meet schedule requirements
