About The Role:

• We are seeking a Connectivity Engineer to join the Design Engineering and Construction (DEC) team.
• This role is pivotal in supporting the physical infrastructure of company's global data centers, ensuring seamless connectivity for the delivery of company's innovative services.
• The Connectivity Engineer will manage the full project lifecycle, from initiation to production turnover, ensuring projects are executed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor management and Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) oversight with connectivity vendors
• Assist the project controls team with forecasting and budget efforts
• Leading link audits (link testing, audit ticket creation, resolution management)
• Removing roadblocks and escalating issues where needed
• Tracking material and coordinating deliveries
• Managing audit tickets for failed links and driving resolution
• Coordinating with teams for provisioning activities
• Manage landlord's OSP Infrastructure, install to design, and dates inserted into lease agreement
• Responsible for ensuring rack/patch/stack of the network build is completed to standard
• Troubleshooting of network turnup during provisioning
• Coordination of Enterprise Network Services (ENS)/ Remote Site Engineering (RSE) for provisioning
• Oversee vendor site-level implementation of Safety Program
• Validate designs, artifacts, and deliverables
• Support Change Orders Requests and RFI Responses

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 10+ years of professional experience
• Experience with hyperscale data center construction environments/connectivity experience (physical infrastructure including rack/patch/stack, link audits, network provisioning/turnup)
• ISP(Inside Plant) and networking background
• Vendor Management experience
• Familiarity with design-build project delivery and constructability reviews
• Strong documentation skills (Standard Operating Procedure(SOP's), Standard Installation Practice (SIP's), Request for Information (RFI) process management)
• Scheduling & risk mitigation expertise
• Ability to forecast and de-risk project timelines
• Self-driven with the ability to make independent decisions in the field without constant oversight

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior FAANG/Big Tech
• OSP (Outside Plant) experience

Location: New Albany, OH [Onsite]

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $190,000 – $247,520 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
