YOUR TYPICAL DAY

As a Lead PlumbingExcavation Technician, your day starts with a morning huddle at our office,followed by dispatch to customer homes for excavation projects. You expertlyoperate heavy equipment like excavators, hydro-vac and septic pump trucks,ensuring safety and efficiency. You install and repair various piping systems,mentor apprentices, and maintain precise records.

Throughout the day, youcheck Google Chats and your email, promptly addressing any inquiries. You greetcustomers warmly, provide exceptional service, and even participate in funcompany events like golf outings and parades. As the day winds down, you ensureall equipment is clean, organized, and ready for the next job.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR ALEAD PLUMBING EXCAVATION TECHNICIAN

  • 3+ years of excavation experience with underground plumbing
  • CDL license
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments

PreferredQualifications:

  • CDL with tanker endorsement
  • Diploma from a trade school or successful completion of an apprenticeship
  • Knowledge of state regulations, including OSHA requirements
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction plans

WORK SCHEDULE

In this full-timeposition, your start time varies between 7 AM and 8 AM, depending on trainingor meetings. While we aim for a 5 PM end time, we work until the last job iscompleted to ensure customer satisfaction. You'll also participate in arotating on-call schedule every other week.
