Job description

Job Requirements
Domain: Semiconductor, Embedded Systems, Silicon Engineering & Tech Services
Experience Level: Senior / Director Level (10-15+ years)
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber, results-driven Client Partner to own, grow, and lead our enterprise relationship with strategic semiconductor clients.
In this strategic role, you will act as the principal executive driving business growth, strategic alignment, and delivery oversight for our semiconductor and embedded engineering services. You will partner with engineering, architecture, product, and supply chain leadership across high-performance computing, adaptive SoCs, data center/AI, client, and embedded business units.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of managing and expanding multi-million-dollar tech consulting, software design, or silicon engineering services accounts-specifically with a deep background in semiconductors, SoC/FPGA enablement, embedded software (BSP/Yocto/Linux/RTOS), and hardware platform bring-up.
Key Responsibilities
1. Account Strategy & Revenue Ownership
  • P&L Management: Own the growth, revenue, and gross margin P&L for strategic semiconductor accounts.
  • Strategic Account Planning: Build and execute multi-year account plans aligned with semiconductor technology roadmaps (data center, embedded x86, Adaptive SoCs, AI accelerators, GPU compute, and edge hardware).
2. Executive Relationship & Stakeholder Management
  • Trusted Advisor: Establish deep, trusted relationships with semiconductor executives, VPs of Engineering, Product Directors, Procurement Leaders, and Ecosystem Partner leads.
  • QBRs & Governance: Lead Executive Business Reviews (EBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to report on health metrics, delivery milestones, and expansion initiatives.
3. Domain Leadership & Solution Delivery Alignment
  • Partner closely with internal Solution Architects, Engineering Practice Leaders, and Delivery Heads to structure proposals, SOWs, and technical bids.
  • Oversee team allocation for critical initiatives including hardware/software integration, board bring-up, PCIe/AXI interconnect validation, device driver development, and edge AI inference workflows.
  • Manage risk mitigation and escalation across complex, high-stakes engineering projects.
Required Qualifications & Background
  • Experience: 10-15+ years of experience in account management, client partnership, sales, or strategic business development within tech services, semiconductor, or system design firms.
  • Semiconductor Account Knowledge: Prior or current experience directly managing key Tier-1 semiconductor accounts (such as Intel, Nvidia, Qualcomm, Broadcom, or Arm) is required.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong conceptual and technical fluency in:
  • Embedded Systems: Embedded C/C++, Linux Kernel, Yocto, RTOS, BSPs, device drivers, MIPI, PCIe, and display/vision pipelines.
  • Silicon & Architectures: x86 APUs/CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs/Adaptive SoCs, heterogeneous compute, and edge AI runtime optimization.
  • Services Business Models: Time & Materials (T&M), Managed Services, Fixed-Price Engineering SOWs, and Offshore/Onsite delivery models.
  • Geography: Based in or relocatable to the San Francisco Bay Area / Silicon Valley (ability to visit client headquarters and local semiconductor R&D hubs regularly).
