As a Sales and Marketing Specialist in a self-employed capacity, you will be responsible for building and maintaining your own portfolio of customers and partnerships. You will have the flexibility to define your target markets, services, and strategies while focusing on delivering measurable results for clients. This setup allows for diverse opportunities across industries and the potential to scale your practice over time.
Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Sales and Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, manage the end-to-end sales process, and maintain strong relationships with clients. You will develop and implement marketing strategies, create promotional materials, and use digital channels to increase brand visibility and lead generation. Day-to-day tasks include conducting prospect outreach, presenting service offerings, negotiating terms, and tracking performance metrics to optimize sales and marketing efforts. You will also be responsible for providing customer support, gathering client feedback, and continuously refining your approaches to improve revenue growth and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interactions with clients and stakeholders.
- Customer Service experience, with the ability to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Proven Sales capabilities, including prospecting, lead qualification, and closing deals.
- Background in Training or coaching clients or team members on products, services, or processes.
- Sales Management skills, such as pipeline management, planning, and performance tracking.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and techniques (e.g., social media, email campaigns, basic analytics).
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize multiple projects in a remote environment.
- Comfort with using online collaboration tools and CRM or sales tracking software.
- Relevant experience in sales, marketing, or business development; formal education in business, marketing, or a related field is beneficial but not required.
