As the Marketing Analytics Single Point of Contact (SPOC), the Senior Marketing Data Analyst serves as the primary analytics partner for the Enterprise Marketing team, with a specific focus on Checking and Deposit Acquisition. Acting as the central point of contact between marketing stakeholders, data science, and analytics teams, the analyst evaluates campaign performance, optimizes channel and audience strategies, and delivers actionable recommendations that improve marketing efficiency and business outcomes. This role requires a strong blend of advanced analytics, business acumen, and stakeholder partnership, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear insights that inform decision-making across acquisition and long-term customer value.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Partner with marketing stakeholders to understand business goals, acquisition strategies, testing roadmaps, and success metrics, translating them into analytic approaches and measurement frameworks.

  • Compile and assess data for analysis, extracting relevant insights and implementable solutions for our marketing partners.

  • Support experimentation and optimization efforts by helping design measurement approaches, interpreting test results, and recommending next actions.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve marketing efficiency and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Become an expert across marketing channels, customer segments and key markets tracked by Citizens' Enterprise Marketing team to contextualize business activities and priorities.

  • Document and communicate technical/analytic results, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts on our team to brainstorm solutions, understand data availability and tools, provide project updates, and share ideas.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative analytics including marketing analytics, financial modeling, applied statistics, or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of Python experience.

  • 3+ years of SQL experience.

  • Experience or exposure to data and analytics in Banking and/or Financial Services industry.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required with an ability to successfully communicate analytic results, insights, and resulting business implications to non-technical business partners.

  • Strong sense of ownership, relentless curiosity and self-driven approach to problem solving.

  • Demonstrated ability to play a leadership role in complex analytical projects.

  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues who have a background in statistics and database development/maintenance.

  • Experience in complex experimental designs, marketing mix models and attribution models preferred.

Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:

  • Bachelor's Degree in statistics, economics, computer science, engineering or similar quantitative field required; master's degree preferred.

Hours and Work Schedule:

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Hybrid: 4 days per week on-site, 1 day remote
